Stephanie Kim

CMO at Pala Inc.

With more than 20 years of experience in fashion marketing and communications as well as brand management, Stephanie Kim now jumped into the world of NFT and leads marketing of Pala Inc. as its Chief Marketing Officer, taking creative marketing and partnering initiatives to keep Pala users and ALAP, its own NFT project, holders connected, engaged, and inspired. With aim to act as the bridge between web 2.0 and web 3.0 and instill a healthy NFT culture, her marketing strategy embraces both offline and online to enrich local NFT experience.

As a result, Pala has firmly positioned itself as Korea's #1 domestic NFT marketplace with plans to expand into other global markets through multi-chain strategy. Pala's own NFT project, ALAP, has successfully rebranded itself by partnering with strong fashion players such as Vogue and GQ Korea as well as participating in Seoul Fashion Week as an NFT ambassador.

Prior to joining Pala, she worked in marketing and communications of several renown beauty and fashion brands including L’Oréal and Hermès. Notable experience came at Tod’s Group where she served as Head of Marketing and Communications for more than 10 years and led comprehensive marketing and advertising campaigns of all three brands – Tod’s, Roger Vivier and Hogan. In recognition of her creative influence and contribution to sales growth of all three brands she was then promoted to Brand Manager of Roger Vivier in Korea where her roles expanded to overseeing retail, merchandising, and training.

Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree from Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and an MBA from Kelley School of Business (Indiana University). Having grown in the United States, Hong Kong and Indonesia she has a deep understanding of intercultural communication.
