Jonathan Kim leads the Web 3.0 strategies for SM Brand Marketing, the Web 3.0 arm of SM Entertainment Group. SM Entertainment Group was founded in 1995 by Chief Producer Soo-Man Lee. SM is recognized for creating K-pop as a global culture and K-pop's production system, the 'Culture Technology(CT)'.

CT is the system pioneered by the Chief Producer to create K-pop at a level to be accepted by global audiences. Since its establishment, SM has led the industry to create new experiences in entertainment such as 'Beyond Live' the online paid concert platform, the first Metaversal girl group 'aespa', and creation of SMCU, SM Culture Universe.
