James Sun is the Founder and CEO of mintNFT. He invented a patent-pending video provenance technology to help brands, IP owners, and creators protect their ideas and work behind NFT’s. James is an entrepreneur with deep expertise in creating vertical online communities where he generated over 140M users and over 2B page views leveraging the convergence of mobile & web consumer products. He is the owner of Dramabeans for 14 years - the largest Korean drama online recap and community site focused on the English speaking market and BeautyTap – the first beauty professional online review community.

Previous to this, he was the founder & CEO of Pirq, a consumer app which was successfully acquired by one of the largest payment processing companies in the U.S. James also has Fortune 500 experience where he served as an engineer at Intel and management consultant at Deloitte Consulting for several Fortune 500 clients including Honeywell, Microsoft, Daimler Chrysler, and Boeing.

James also comes with content and media experience where he was the producer and host of a program called “Sun Tzu War on Business.” This show was a co-collaboration between BBC (British Broadcasting Corp), Mediacorp, and CMMN, which aired worldwide in over 20 countries. James was also a finalist on NBC’s reality show "The Apprentice." He has previous publishing experience as the co-owner of Koream magazine, which was an award-winning monthly magazine dedicated to news, commentary, politics, lifestyle and culture. He was also the owner of Audrey Magazine, which was an award-winning national publication covering the Asian experience.

James is a highly sought out speaker on the topic of consumer segmentation and diversity especially in the areas of globalization. He is a 3x Tedx Speaker and he has advised over 35 companies on this topic alone including Proctor & Gamble, Deloitte & Touche, JP Morgan, Ernst & Young, BASF, Qwest, Honeywell, US Army, and dozens of top tiered universities. He is published in a book titled "Millennial Leaders Y" as an expert in this field. James has been featured on CEO Magazine and Fortune Magazine as a guest blogger on the topics of leadership and entrepreneurship.

James graduated Cum Laude from the University of Washington Business School with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems. James was recently selected as a top 100 alumni from the University of Washington in the "Wonderous 100 Alumni Award" which included prominent individuals like Bill Gates Sr., Governor Christine Gregoire, and musician Kenny G.
